Almonds are full of nutritional value and add crunchiness. Whereas perks of adding dates is, it helps to boost energy and it’s natural sweetness. The basic ingredients are just almonds, dates, and coconut oil. I also add some cocoa powder to give it a twist of taste and peanut butter which gives it a buttery flavour. Coating the balls in the grated coconut gives it a finishing touch.
Serves – 4
Ingredients:
3/4 cup almonds
1-1/2 cup pitted dates
1 tbsp coconut oil or olive oil
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Grated coconut for coating
Method:
1. In a blender or mixer coarsely grind the almonds.
2. Then add the dates, peanut butter, cocoa powder, coconut oil and grind till all the
ingredients are crushed and mixed all together.
3. Make equal sized balls and keep it in the fridge for 10 mins.
4. Roll the ready balls in toasted coconut and store in an airtight container.
